The high technical toughness of the meta-aramid nomex fibre, combined with elaborate braiding operation, results in a smooth and flexible Meta-Aramid Nomex fiber packing with PTFE dispersion with great mechanical and chemical resistance. As a result of low coefficient of friction, shaft wear is largely prevented, actually at high shaft rates of speed. No abnormal heat build-up between the packing rings and the turning shaft; the packing runs cool, is still smooth as well as flexible, resulting in longer services life.
