Style SULON 100 - PTFE Tubes

Virgin PTFE molded tubes are made of 100% virgin PTFE resin, by using our advanced compression molding process, we can make PTFE molded tubes with a very high quality surface finish, free from stress cracks and close to the dimension of the end product, maximizing reducing cost and reducing material loss. It has a wide range of working temperature from -180°C to 260°C, the best electrical properties compared to all other plastics and has the lowest coefficient of friction of all known solid plastics materials.

PTFE is a very good plastic materials, known as "the King of Plastics". As the one of the China leading manufacturer of virgin PTFE molded tubes, the diameter of the PTFE tubes we can make from 25 mm to 1300 mm. And the PTFE tube can be reinforced by adding with fillers such as Bronze, carbon, glass fiber, mos2, p84 and peek.

PTFE tubes usually have 2 main types as below:

SULON 100 - PTFE Molded Tubes (Outer diameter 25 to 200 mm, wall thickness 1.5 mm to 8 mm)
SULON 102 - PTFE Extruded Tubes (Outer diameter 25 to 1300 mm, wall thickness 5 mm to 100 mm)

What Is The Difference Between PTFE Molded Tubes and PTFE Extruded Tubes

1 - Different Manufacturing Process

The PTFE molded tube is molded with our special compression molding technology. After molding by pressing method and then by using of sintering process, then be the finished product part. The PTFE extruded tube is made of suspension polymerized PTFE resin through plunger extrusion processing.

2 - Different Usage Purpose and Properties

PTFE molded tubes also have 2 main types, 100% virgin ptfe molded tubes, and molded PTFE tubes with a variety of fillers suitable for mixing with PTFE include glass fiber, carbon fiber, tin bronze and lubricants (such as graphite, molybdenum disulfide) and have been widely used in large-scale production. Compared with pure PTFE, filled PTFE has the advantages of higher compressive strength, wear resistance, good heat conduction, and reduced thermal expansion.

PTFE extruded tube has the best chemical resistance and dielectric properties. Suitable for conveying food and beverages, steam, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. It is a pressure tube used to transport hydraulic fluid in the aerospace industry, such as jets, rockets and other spacecraft for high speed fuel delivery. High pressure air in the automobile industry, the transportation of highly corrosive media in the chemical industry, and the passage of high purity fluids in the pharmaceutical industry. In the civil industry, it is suitable for the flexible connection of hydraulic pressure, steam pressure, steam transmission, clothing, shipbuilding, automobiles, machine tools, electric welding machines, diesel engines, paper making and other industries.

The PTFE molded tube has corrosive medium fluid pipes, insulating sheaths and drive shafts. Transporting highly corrosive gases and liquids at high temperatures cannot be replaced by other pipelines. PTFE molded tube can be used to connect graphite, ceramic or glass pipes with low machinery, can be used as feed and discharge pipes for tank trucks, storage tanks, containers or reactors, can be used for pipe staggered connection or to balance pipes caused by weather or other reasons Displacement, size change or used to eliminate high-frequency mechanical vibration. It can also be used as a tube reactor or heat exchanger in special occasions.
